VerTönt!

For the 30th edition of VerTönt! presented by the Müller & Schade publishing house in Bern (Switzerland) we have once again put together a very interesting program featuring pieces from the classical modernist era and works by composers represented by the publishing house. Stefan Werren’s Six Epigrams for Cello solo are wonderful short pieces that I have recently added to my repertoire. Another great discovery was the work “Circulo” by Joaquin Turina.

The concert series is truly an insider’s tip. It’s always very well attended and draws an extremely enthusiastic audience. I’ve been playing here since the very first season. I’ve gotten to know many composers (this time Stefan Werren was in attendance) and always enjoy coming back!
